Khloe Kardashian surprises her daughter True, 6, with second cat as a birthday gift

Khloe Kardashian, 39, took to Instagram to show off her new pet cat as her daughter True Thompson cuddled up with their new furry friend. 

The reality star and her daughter, six, named the Russian blue feline Baby Kitty, joining their other cat Grey Kitty, and was welcomed as a birthday gift for True, whose father is Tristan Thompson.

The Good American co-founder - who was recently spotted in LA after the death of O.J. Simpson - revealed that she never expected to have two cats. 

'Welcome to the family Baby Kitty,' she penned in the caption, 'All True wanted for her six birthday was another kitty. She is such a great kitty mommy to Grey Kitty. 

'I know she will be just as wonderful to Baby Kitty. Never in a million years did I think I would have one cat let alone two. But here we are and I love them,' she added.

They named the gray feline Baby Kitty and was welcomed as a birthday gift to her daughter as she turned six on April 12

'Welcome Baby Kitty to the family,' Khloe wrote in the lengthy caption

'I love how much my kids love them as well. But this is my maximum for cats. Two is enough. Anyways, welcome Baby Kitty to the family. I’m sure Grey Kitty will be so happy to have a friend,' she finished.

In a few of the sweet snaps, True wore her dark locks in braids with pink accents that matched her pastel butterfly pajamas. 

Fans went wild over the post as one wrote, 'I am team dog all year long but this is the cutest cat I’ve ever seen!' 

Socialite Nicky Hilton hit the like button and commented a simple heart-eye emoji.

In another snap, both cats are seen playing with the six-year-old's dolls. 

In February Kardashian was accused of FaceTuning Grey Kitty after fans noticed the feline's changed features in a Valentine's Day post this week.

The reality star,  along with her famous family -  has been caught editing photos before, posted a snap of  Grey Kitty to mark the celebratory day of love, but her followers quickly pointed out the cat's 'blurred' whiskers and different eye color.

One fan wrote: 'Even the pets aren’t safe' with a second typing: 'even the cat got work done'.

A third penned: 'In other pics the eyes are bright green, these eyes are turquoise blue!' while another wrote: 'You can see the inconsistencies and blurs on the whiskers.'

Others wrote: 'This is a Russian blue. I have 2. They are very very beautiful cats but they don’t look like this', 'Did she FaceTune off the whiskers ??' and 'these damn beauty standards are getting out of hand.'

Kardashian shares her young daughter and 21-month-old Tatum with her 33-year-old ex partner, basketball star Tristan Thompson.

The blonde beauty and Tristan were first linked in the summer of 2016 when they were spotted at LA's Bootsy Bellows nightclub.

In a 2017 interview, the Good American co-founder said they met via a blind date set up by their mutual friend, Brandon Jennings, and was reluctant at the time.

October of that same year, the pair went Instagram official in a romantic Halloween post where the two posed as Marvel's Storm and the Black Panther.

April of 2018, the 33 year-old Canada native fathered True with the reality star until their world came crashing down.

Just days before the birth, he was caught in an exclusive video locking lips with a sexy brunette at Manhattan club.

At the time, a source revealed that 'Khloé carried his child and is much more in the limelight than he is, and she doesn’t think he understands the consequences of his decisions

'She thinks the cheating scandal is a way bigger deal than he does, and he doesn’t fully understand the repercussions of his actions affecting not only him and Khloé but the entire family as a whole.'

In February 2019, TMZ reported that he cheated again kissing Jordyn Woods, a close family friend. Woods, then best friend of Kylie Jenner, confirmed it in a Red Table Talk.

Khloe subsequently tweeted, 'Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child...

'Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY.'

The two have not been together since 2021 but co-parent their children in a public and civilized manner.

In 2022, Kardashian had her son Tatum via surrogate and changed his last name to Thompson over a year after his birth.
